Eligibility:
Legacy Board membership is open to individuals who have completed at least one full term on the Executive Board. This updated criteria reflects a shift from the prior eligibility standard, which was based solely on years of membership (20+ years) or status as a past president. The change ensures that the Legacy Board is composed of members who have engaged in leadership at the highest level and possess a deep understanding of the organization’s governance, mission, and strategic priorities.
Legacy Board members are expected to:
Attend at least one Legacy Board meeting per year
Be available to advise current leadership when called upon
Serve as mentors in the mentorship program
Support key initiatives such as the foundation’s fundraising efforts
