CREW Signature Event Recap: Building the Future for Tomorrow

CREW hosted our annual signature event on June 13 called Building the Future for Tomorrow, which gave attendees insights about how emerging technologies will present challenges for the future of work.

CREW Member Emilie Mody, Commercial Banker with First Bankers Trust Company, had the following to say after attending the event: “I chose to attend this event in an effort to connect with a larger audience within CREW. Cassi Chandler was a tremendous speaker! I appreciated her candor related to self-awareness and how her lack at times in her career negatively impacted her teams. That really resonated with me. I was inspired by her encouragement to use this CREW group as a springboard to join together to support each other and enact change. Overall, I think the message will inspire me to be more cognizant of my peers and seek opportunities to support peers within that are seeking growth. I was able to connect with a few CREW members that I have known but not seen recently and met a few new ones. We have reached out to schedule coffee and happy hour meetings. Overall, the event proved to be very fruitful and I would highly recommend attendance to other members.”
